Hello sevenfourms i need help with my user accounts i have 2 accounts one of them was a standard user and another was administrator one day i logged off of my administrator account called USer then i went to log on again later and there was just my standard account called victim on the log on screen and when i try to switch users it goes back to my victim account. I know the password for my USer account and i can see the USer directory. Im stuck on a standard account and i cant do anything. cant install software can use command prompt but most commands i cant use like net user is a example of commands i cant use. I cant use regedit to restore the USer account any suggestions. Really appericate your help with my problem. Thanks

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Log off of your standard account.
While at the Welcome screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice.
See if your admin account is available via that log on method.
If not, then maybe you can enable the built in administrator account:
Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable

I figured something might have hidden your admin account from the welcome screen. I was not sure if the double C-A-D would make it appear and I could not test before making my first reply to your thread :-(

Sorry about the link to the tutorial - it did not have the info in it that I thought it had..

This is going to be another guess that I cannot test before posting:
Use the tool mentioned in option 5 of this tutorial...
User Account - Reset Password in Windows 7
...I think that the tool has the ability to enable the admin account.
Even if it does not, it will list all accounts that it can find.

Don't let the screens full of text scare you - just read them carefully.
