I have Telstra 4g mobile broadband manager, and a yagi antenna on the roof of my house. Ever since
I have been with Telstra, I have all through the day constant 1002 error. The IP address lease......
for the network card with network address...... has been denied by the DHCP server. I have spoken to
Telstra about this, and I just get people from the Phillipines saying oh, oh. Their is no answer for it.
I have come to this forum, because it has been the best help anywhere on the internet. I wondered if
this is anything to worry about or not? Can it cause any harm to windows 7 home premium 64 bit.:D

Hello Ethel look I know how you feel Telstra is big on taking your money and slow on rectifying problems.
Now what are you actually using?? you mentioned the yagi aerial but just what is that hooked up to??

The other thing I have found is to just keep pestering them I know it is tedious but if you start to mention dissatisfied with the service etc etc then they will sit back usually put you onto a "supervisor" and then get something done.

But until we know what equipment you are actually using it is hard to track down if it is machine based issue. If it is beyond me then I know of a very good networking member I can get to help but soem eqipment details please.

To ICIT2LOL. Sorry I have taken so long to answer. I have only just got my computer back, whilst having
repairs done. As far as Telstra is concerned the only solution they have for me is early contract termination,
and waiving the termination fee. This does not help because whatever provider I use it will still be telstras
tower the signal comes through. The yagi antenna is connected to patch cable from the wall, and straight
into telstra 4g netgear modem, which then plugs into usb port. What I have been told is telstra does
change your ipaddress, and if you wish to keep a static ipaddress you have to pay more monthly. I am
going to wait and see what the governments new satellite program turns out to be like. I just have to stay
stuck with telstra for now. Thank you.:D

internet driver confusion

Hello ICIT2LOL. I was wondering if someone could help me with the same old issues.

Telstra Mobile Broadband Manager ucm 3.10.20205
Driver 6.1.7601.17514
Sierra Wireless Aircard 320U
Sierra Wireless Modem 11.5.1005.5
Sierra Wireless WWAN Network Adapter 6.20.0.17

Telstra yagi antenna
4g netgear modem

I have phoned Telstra yet again , and was directed to netgear , who told me the latest driver
for the aircard, but when I downloaded it there was no connection at all, and I had to uninstall the driver,
Telstra mobile broadband manager, and reinstall.

Now I am getting constant errors in windows event viewer
5009 SWNC8UA3 cannot be found or files may be corrupt. Device\NDMP.
I do not know how to repair this.

I get another constant error because Telstra does not give you a static ip address, and I do not know if
this can be done.

The 4g modem screws directly to a patch cable from the wall socket, which connects to outside antenna.
The other end of the modem plugs into usb port on the tower.
