1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to install a couple of Finding Nemo games on my Windows 7 PC for my son. I keep getting the above error each time I try and install. I've tried using every different compatability mode without success. My Googling of the issue only finds fixes for Windows XP for this particular issue. I'm hoping someone here has some other thoughts which would be appreciated! Don't really want to go back to using XP just for a couple of games.

To clarify I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.

Are you sure that the game is compatible with Windows 7?

I would suggest downloading and installing XP Mode, but it's only available to Win7 Profssional, Enterprise & Ultimate. Even that isnt a guaranteed fix.

Thanks for your response notsograymatter. According to Windows Compatibility website it is Windows 7 compatibile. I'm currently looking into the option of upgrading to Professional and using XP Mode to see if that resolves the issue, but before doing so wanted to see if this issue could be bypassed by other means.
