2 keyboards and mice question.

I Have 2 pairs of mice and keyboards and also have 2 screens is there any way to where I can isolate a pair of mice and keyboards to a screen with any kind of program? So 1 pair is on the left screen my other pair is on the right screen? I know somewhere someone has done this just saying that!

None! With any dual display setup the only thing any software will see is the extension of the primary desktop over to the second display and provide an extended Smart taskbar. The keyboard and mouse plugged in at the time will be in use for both.

You can have both sets plugged in at the same time but still only see one cursor you can move around with either mouse. You can type with either keyboard when having two plugged in but still in the same text box or window.

With one keyboard I had to keep a PS/2 rollaway plugged in order to enter the bios setup until finding the usb model was bought with a defect. When more then just the Del key failed to work the replacement keyboard saw the use one only return. $80 for a piece of crap gaming model and $16 for an illuminated one that works!

Idk about that cause I just found and downloaded a program called Glovepie which took my 2 mice and split them into to coursers so now all I need is someway of splitting my Keyboards now!

That would be what is seen at Windows MultiPoint Mouse Software Development Kit then. The other program is aimed at multiple users on one machine using separate input devices.

I'm still working on the keyboard side of it however since these are mostly geared for multiple pointers with each cursor having a different color. Essentially what the other program does is create the virtual environment for multiple user interaction which is where to start as far as the keyboard part of it.

The main application for this type of software is aimed mostly at educational and business. As far as simply going to any site like downloads.com, fileguru, or majorgeeks and looking for a freeware or trial you may or may not find anything since this would fall more under a specialized software rather then for the typical one user machine.
