My chipset is H370M (gigabyte) ... I'm assuming the UHD 630 IG driver is universal ... though, my Hardware ID is:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3E92&SUBSYS_D0001458&REV_00
When I attempt using either of the fixed IG display drivers to replace the Generic PnP driver ... I no longer get video.
PS,
With UHD 630 there's no image.
I've tried both 'custom' drivers floating around for it:
- SMXDIY_Win64_15.45.27.5068_Beta_4.0_signature
- Win7_8th_i3_i5_Driver_2.0
They both install and indicate that they're properly working (fortunately Team Viewer allows me to interact with the system, verify things, make changes, etc)... but there's no video to the actual monitor.
Of diagnostic import, IT ACTUALLY PERFORMS FASTER with the driver that does NOT work.
The improved performance is what makes me think it's 'close' but either no cigar -- or missing a component.
The other tenuous/stupid possibility is a stupid quirk of this model Display.
The damned LCD is picky about refresh rates - which I'm actually going to test right now with various refresh rates to see if it's some issue with this idiotic LG (literal garbage) and it's quasi-multisync personality.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
