For the most part, 32-bit applications will run without issues on a 64-bit version of Windows. The only 32-bit components that for sure will not run would be drivers. Drivers must be designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and must natively run as 64-bit to work as 32-bit drivers will simply not work.

of course you can run 32bit on 64bit and you can check the program whether it's running 32bit or 64bit by Start Task manager > processes will show *32
