Accidentally created cyclic directories

I accidentally hard linked my downloads folder to my username folder. I just installed an SSD, and I was relocating my libraries to my HDD when somehow this happened. I have no idea how to fix it without possibly messing more stuff up.

It seems all my other libraries were moved just fine. I relocated every folder except AppData, so AppData is on my SSD and everything else Documents, Music, Links, videos etc is on my HDD. So what happens is I click on SamDodd (my username folder) and it shows all of my libraries, which is fine. I can check their location and it properly shows them all located on the HDD - except Downloads. I go into Downloads and there is one thign in there: AppData. When I try to delete the Downloads folder the messagebox asks if I'm sure I want to delete the folder SamDodd.

can you post a screen shot of the Explorer view where you can see your libraries? Same thing for the one where you can see the Downloads folder.
I think some of the terms you have used are wrong so I need to get a better idea of what exactly is where........
(Libraries are just shortcuts, not the actual folder with files. AppData and Downloads are folders. A hardlink can only link two files not two folders - you'd need a symbolic link or a junction for that- and it's not something you can do accidentally)

I can't post a screenshot now. I solved my problem by creating a new user account. Thanks for your response though!
