I purchased this direct from MS (contained 32 & 64 bit DVD's) for a previous HP laptop which is now kaput.
So I thought I would upgrade a really old laptop "Hi Grade TW3-EAA" with my "purchased & licensed" copy of Win 7 HP from Win XP. Had no errors at upgrade time after I entered the PK (or that I noticed).
Has been working until today.
After the latest "auto update" today I saw the "activation" icon in the sys tray (NOT been there prior to today's auto-update)!
So I foolishly entered the PK that belongs to the DVD I used to upgrade.
