Adobe Reader 9.3

I've noticed that when I click on a pdf file or view its properties, it displays that it opens with Adobe Reader 9.2. However, I updated from 9.2 to 9.3 a while back. The files open with no problems and 'Programs and Features' shows that 9.3 is installed.

Does this occur with anybody else?

Thanks in advance.

This does not answer your question; but there is an alternative to Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader. It does not have nearly the foot print that Adobe Reader does and performs well. I ditched Adobe several years ago. If you choose Foxit Reader watch carefully during the installation process if you don't want the Google Toolbar and the Foxit toolbar.

Many thanks. I decided to give Foxit a go and after a little bit of tinkering it seems to work very well! I opted for the .zip download so no installation was required.

Thanks again.

Very good. I have found it to work well. I'm glad you like it. I didn't think of going the zip routine; that would save some trouble.

It surely has and it has gotten steadily worse. It installs the Adobe updater whether you want it or not.
