I have been trying to install adobe reader for the past month or so and everytime error 1935 pops up and rolls back the installation. So far I have tried a command in cmd suggested by adobe but that didn't fix the issue... anyone else have same problem?? any fix??

The usual cause is a disruption in the download process by something running on your computer. Turn off anti virus and firewall. If that does not work try to download in Safe Mode.

Thanks, Rich, for posting this info... it did the trick. Funny thing is, I downloaded the whole ~27MB file before running it, but it hung during "Processing" at 100% and wouldn't move, meanwhile all 4 cores were whirring away at something. Didn't occur to me that it was still trying to access the 'net. Rebooted, turned off Panda, tried again and away it went.

Thanks again, and repped!
