in that command prompt:
Code:
bcdedit /store  c:\boot\bcd
Does it give an error or readable output? If so... any references to F disk? For examle:
id {default}
device partition=F:

If it produces an error, then try instead: bcdedit /store d:\boot\bcd
bcdedit /store e:\boot\bcd
bcdedit /store f:\boot\bcd

current partition C: is the onely one set as active

"bcdedit /store c:\boot\bcd" is the onely one that worked, by the others it sayed that the system couldn´t find the stated file

Volume C is the System reserved Partition
Volume E is the "Original" C: Partition
Volume D is the "Original" D: Partition and
Volume F is the "Original" E: Partiton ("Original" refers to the time the PC worked without problems)

So it's not a boot problem at all!!! What a waste of time. We could have done all actions in win7 itself!

It means the ACTIVE partition is missing some files. Don't know why. You even did mark the other partition (then called E) active, then rebooted from DVD again, ran "startup repair" .... it produced the same message. Close to impossible.

The partition table does not have a valid System Partition.
The system partition listed in the partition table does not contain the required system files.
