AIM between Windows 7 & Mac

I am trying to video chat with Mac user. Does anyone know what I needc to do to make it work or if I even can with Windows 7?

Welcome ChristyG to the forums.

Skype and AIM both work on PC's and Mac's. they both of course have to webcams and microphones
as well as the program installed properly on each. the video and audio signals don't know if the OS is Apple or Microsoft
so yes, it will work quite well.

I have dos 6.22, wfwg 3.11, win98, 2000 and xp VHD's available for testing. MS's Virtual PC works great.
Aim doesn't work, but skype will. Just trying to figure out why we can audio chat but not video chat with AIM. We keep getting "an unknown failure occured" when we try to video chat.
