Solved All browser slow/not loading pages

A reinstall isn't a problem, the backup process is. I want to backup all my programs+their data (not just to copy the folders in C:\program files to a portable hdd, because then they won't be in the registry, right?)

Saving programs isn't worth the effort at all, trying to get the registry correct would be a nightmare. You will need to reinstall the programs.

If I had any idea there was malware or a virus or key logger involved here then reinstalling the Op system would have been my first choice but you sounded like you were having a browser problem which related to networking.

Once you see the browser going places you haven't directed it too then you are fighting a losing battle.

A system image comes in really handy for times like this. I highly suggest you set up Windows file recovery next time. It allows you to create a new image on a schedule automatically which you can save to a separate hard drive .

I've already done a scan with WDO and I already have a anti-virus program that is working fine. This is not a browser related problem, my computer just won't connect to the servers sometimes.

We can better help you when you provide a full set of System Specs.

To that end, read and carry out this procedure, as written and using SPECCY which allows you to copy, using Ctrl+C from Speccy and paste using Ctrl+V into the SevenForum System Spec pages.

Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

ADD the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
“system manufacturer” block, for example,
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

Yes reinstalling tends to be much faster and more straight forward than attempting to track down some unknown virus or malware, especially when you don't really know if you got rid of the entire virus or not. Best to be careful with those torrents like Karl said.

I'd think about setting up Windows file recovery and save back up images to another harddrive.

All hardware drivers installed as well as OS?

I think I might try uninstalling one by one any programs or software that was added to the system since it was reinstalled. Process of elimination is usually the best way to find out which one is causing the problem.

If you recovered the system from a partition on the harddrive of this lap top then I would uninstall any bloat ware that came preinstalled on the system, especially any security software like Norton or MacAfee.

You should also visit Windows update.

If it is a wireless connection please download xirrus wi-fi inspector and post a screenshot when you are connected to the network and internet

Also do you have an exclamation mark on your network icon in the taskbar?

I have finally found out where the problem is. It's my Wlan adapter(Broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN). I tried to connect my laptop to a wired connection and it worked perfectly. My drivers are up to date. What should I do?

Your ipconfig /all looks ok on wired and wireless connection.

No since you have a wireless problem your xirrus shows your network and and sec_Linkshare 520 on channel 11 which could be a problem.

Please change the channel on your router to channel 8.

See if connectivity stabilises and please let us know.
