All folders opening in new tab

Hello, i have windows 7 Home Basic O. S. On my Sony Viao. I am getting some problem from few days, everytime i open folder it gets opened in new tab with previous tab as it is. So if i want to see a file in my drive at the end number of folders are get open until i close them manually.
Please if u can fix this problem let me know the solution.

Hello.

1.Open Start >type Folder options>Left click on it.
You will now see Browse folders: Open each folder in the same window. Click on circle left from it >click OK.

2.*If it's already ticked >then tick Open each folder in it's own window.OK >then repeat step one.

3.*Open command prompt and run this command SFC/SCANNOW.
