I recently purchased a new HP laptop. Has Windows 10 installed. Changed BIOS to legacy and HD to MBR, then installed Windows 7. Found all of the drivers. Have a problem with AMD graphics driver. Had AMD detect and install proper? driver. It seems to work fine, but as soon as Windows desktop shows, I get the following message every time: "System Settings Change. Your hardware settings have changed. Please reboot your computer for these settings to take effect." Get the same message every time I reboot. I will click OK and message goes away until next boot/reboot. I know it is the graphics driver because if I uninstall it, the message goes away. Also tried MS update after I uninstalled driver. Also manually downloaded drivers/software. No difference. Really frustrating! I hate Windows 10. Need help PLEASE!! Had to reset and go back to 10.

Hi Bornloser,

The latest driver is NOT allways the best, try an earlier version.
It would help if we knew what model the card is

Thanks for the reply. I don't know the exact model of the graphics. Only info I can come up with is that it is an R5 series. The driver package at AMD pretty much covers all models of R5 along with others. I used to be able to download the bare driver in the past. It seems all you can get now is this entire software thing. It includes all of these unneeded items. Model number of the HP laptop is 15-BW063NR if that will help. I always complained about not being able to totally control Windows 7. Windows 10 is so much worse. Plus, I think it is really slow!
