I have a ATI HD5450 video card and was working fine under 10.4 drivers. I updated to 10.10 and these alerts are happening when I play videos. Seems to work OK in full screen mode but not positive.
A lot of people have seen this same message since 2009. The work around is to turn off the event logging in the reg. I saw this also many months ago but don't remember the fix.



Here is the reg fix but is not the best way to handle the errors.

Seems to be a pci- resource contention. check here. Windows 7 Media Center - LiveTV stuttering

Thanks for the post. On my system everything works great except I get tons of the events. I may go back to 10.4 driver and see what it does. But have to wait. Power supply quit on me. I have an old spare but power connectors are 4pin molex and not sata so off to radio shack in the morning to find an adapter.
