an unexpected error in the property page.....(0x8007007B)

It seems that the above error can actually appear under different circumstances.
In my case I went into the "System Properties" and then, System protection for my main hard drive which happens to be an SSD. I chose my Drive clicked on 'Configure'
After which I changed the 1% to 2% and in Clicking 'apply' I got the following error:
System protection error: There was an unexpected error in the property page. the filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. (0x8007007B)

Ranger4 your link provided the answer. Thank you Too bad I can't see where I can mark your answer as correct or hi5 you or something.
In my case (should this matter to others) I had replaced my main C: drive, where the OS sat with a new SSD drive. Though the older drive was not visible anywhere else (under 'My Computer", System Properties or other) it did appear there. I deleted that 2nd C: and the problem was solved. (Now I'm wondering if it's still sitting somewhere else as well.) Anyhow, once again thanks
