Got bored with Sense. Went back to Oxygen, which has been updated to the new version of Android, 2.3.4. Runs good, and has the version of Google Talk, which has video calling in it, which also works over 3G etc. Not tried it yet though.

Thank you. I was thinking that there is some difference with 2.3.4,but as I can see there are no changes.

Just been having a play with the Google Talk video call and it works really well. My phone doesn't have a front facing camera though, so it's a bit awkward, lol.

I had a play yesterday with google talk video between my nexus S and Ipad2 with some pretty good results.

Does it work for you over 3G/H for you, John? The video call icon next to contacts disappears for me when I'm on the mobile network, so I can only make video calls over WiFi.

Unless it's just not supported on Orange over 3G yet. I know the voice calls over 3G only work if the carrier supports it.

It must do as I dont have wifi turned on because the battery life is on the nexus s is crap.

And 2.3.4 was suppost to help improve battery life on Nexus S, I think.

It does work over mobile networks. It was just me being an idiot and trying to call a contact who doesn't have a camera. Tried it on my netbook and it works.

So I searched the market for something on my HTC thunderbolt, and now all of a sudden the market changed. Like it has a different look to it. There's a green part at the top. It's kind of hard to explain. Any ideas on why this happened?

That's just the new version of the market.

It happened literally when I was in the middle of it. I like the old way better. Now the green round part at the top takes up all the space.

Today I have installed fully working version of Froyo. It's a custom ROM,called Floyo 0.20 made by Racht. It's working great. It's very fast and games are going much better than other roms that I have tested before. ATM I'm running it at 710Mhz.
