Another IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL :(

Dismantling the laptop may void the warranty; I don't suggest it yet. Don't worry about removing the network card, serial adapters, whatever all; chances are you don't even have the hardware in the machine!

We can try to rule out RAM problems by software diagnostic programs. Could you try running Memtest86 for several hours, or about 7 passes?

Copying the recovery partition most likely won't work; it is designed to work only on one machine, or at least only Dell machines of that model.

The recovery disc you can download there will allow you to run Chkdsk from a command prompt, but you can't reinstall from it. It is designed to run from a CD, but running it from a USB drive is not too big of a problem. To do that, you'd have to download the ISO, mount it with a tool such as Magicdisc, and then copy all the files to a USB drive.

To run Memtest86 for 7 passes, just let it go, and check on it later. 7 passes on 4GB of RAM might take on the order of several hours.

Thanks again Jonathan!

I will run the Memtest86 now until 7 passes has completed.

After that, I will try the ISO.

I am in the process of contacting Asus and XoticPC (the vendor I bought it from) to try and activate my 2 yr warranty.

Will update ASAP, thanks!

What are you referring to Zardoc?

I have just run Memtest86 for 7 passes (6 hours!!) and it said no errors found.

Guess I better go ahead with my RMA haha..!

Unless anyone else has suggestions, I would like to thank everyone so much for their help and this thread can be closed!

Thank you

:)

I meant that like Jonathan it's not a good idea to remove ram from a laptop under warranty.

Memtest is not always reliable for memory issues. I just changed the mem on mine, it was faulty.

Problem solved.

Omg...

For anyone who might have been following my problem...

After I last posted in this thread my laptop was sent back to ASUS for repairs. They had it for 2 weeks. They changed the main board and CPU and completely wiped everything. Got it back today and within 10 minutes I received the exact same BSOD..!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And another 4 times after that.

Needless to say I have arranged for them to come pick it up again.

Below is my most recent dmp file if anyone has any ideas

That dump blames your Intel WiFi drivers, which are out of date. Please install these newer ones: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19856&ProdId=3141&lang=eng

Thanks Jonathan I will update the drivers now.

Zardoc, I bought this notebook just over a year ago brand new. I recently sent it back for repairs and they replaced the mainboard and CPU.

Thanks again

The network controller will be a chip on the motherboard, so if the replacement motherboard is new, the chip is new as well.

Wow, so ASUS rejected my renewed RMA request and told me to "attempt the F9 recovery once more to make sure that it is not the OS that is causing an issue" which is ridiculous because it was my understanding that it was completely reinstalled.
How ever, I did this and half an hour in and I get that same BSOD again.

Won't they just give me a new one?? Lol.
