In sli you might have a chance depending on the CPU i own one of those as well but Sli would be your only chance to be honest
Oh so it is here the so called bottlenecking might happen, gotcha.

I don't know what you mean about how some one would depend but any CPU in the last three years should pretty much let you play games
DX12 has made the Video card more active in task so now days games are mostly GPU dependent than CPU dependent some older games are but they are changing the way the information is sent between cpu and gpu
