Solved Another "stuck in startup repair loop" thread

Thanks, I have ran " / r " before.. i'll try that. If no good, I'll just move over what I can from the old partition and use the fresh install.. :confused:. Definitely appreciate all the help.

No recovery Discs other than whats included with the partition and included DVDs.

I ran chkdsk on all valid drives to be sure not to miss anything. Still no boot.

I'm deciding to scrap it and work with the fresh install. Any way to move over program files/Start Menu...?

Programs aren't transferable . They would need to be reinstalled . What you mean by start menu

You answered it haha.. the programs. I guess I'm figuring if there is a way to pull the start menu from the old drive and "point" them the the D:\..
