Any free W7 programs to test comcast router/modem combo out?

Any free windows 7 programs to test comcast router/modem combo out? I can use tools from Linux if I can get the tools installed. I use Xubuntu.

The adaptor driver usually has some basic test features. Mine, shown below, shows a loop-back test. There's also connection and cable tests.

I wish I had that.

I did fine the partial issue thanks to my linux partition, even though some sites that use ipv6 still prefer to use ipv4 connections.

I edited a gai.conf and removed the # from this precedence ::ffff:0:0/96 100 line

# For sites which prefer IPv4 connections change the last line to
#precedence ::ffff:0:0/96 100

Dose windows 7 have a way to do this?

I have no idea. I don't know what a "gai.conf" is. I was under the impression that IPv6 addressing is dependent on your ISP. I see a lot of IPv6 Solicit messages in my monitor but never paid much attention to them. As long as I'm connected and get the site I'm looking for, I'm happy.

That what I thought about IPv6 addressing. If a site prefers to use Ipv4, they shouldn't have IPv6 till it is actually required.

I could be mistaken but I think some Microsoft servers use IPv6. I seem to recall reading that somewhere. I think it may be for updates but I don't recall.
