That was my day so far! Had to sign for Registered Vape Mail just a half hour ago. Besides the one I got at a Canadian vendor months ago for $22.99 the eGo-V V4s generally run about $35-$40 a piece except for the $29.99 tag at Sweet-Vapes that is. Plus the Eleaf LCD power meter arrived as well explaining why the iStick is seen in the snapshot here.

When you mention the price at HeavenGifts for the leather case you have to remember that's not a US vendor while DiscountVaper has them priced at $4.99. The iStick Mini has been the topic of discussion where I'm several will jump on it at that price while the pair of 20w iSticks works for me!

For us in the UK shipping from the US is almost always not an option due to many companies not shipping to the UK or quoting ridiculous prices for doing it and that's without mentioning import duty & VAT charges which the Chinese seem very adept at avoiding by declaring mods as a low value devices. I've even had one instance where it was declared as a metal pipe!

Well it should be very easy for the Chinese, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. vendors to be able to ship out anywhere since they get everything at cost from a local manufacturer! Just a pebble throw down the street for them!

In another discussion however the mini was coming up a lot in the last few days and someone had an oscilloscope in use to measure the RMS(Root Mean Square) and PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) values coming out of the iStick and apparently got his hands on one of the minis likely from Alibaba dot com since you see everything there first before anyone else gets any in!

Some were hearing strange sounds or rattling coming from the iStick(s) they had and thought the main button was making the noise while one reporting a humming sound. Meanwhlie Vamo Fire 20watter APV in the photo there is just another Vamo V6 with a wooden covering and abuot twice the diameter of the usual Vamo size. Can't run 18350s stacked in it!

Whilst I agree it's useful to have maybe 2 or 3 mods and a handful of tanks, I worry about you hawk. I really dread to imagine how much vape stuff you have. I know it's a hobby and a good hobby but surely you have to draw a line somewhere!

It's not a hobby in that sense but an investment. In health actually! The four eGo-V V4s are being stored as spare batteries for ones already replaced as well as being the updated version of the V3s which three out of 5 are still in use. When an iTaste VV v3.0 lets go that will be replaced by one of those rather then buying the new V4 coming out while that will be an 1000mah 3-15w version.

This of course was mostly an upgrade of hardwares compared to what I had to replace a year ago at this time since this year I knew just what to be looking for and was able to grab things up at bargain prices rather then spread things out over 3 months like I did last year.

But just think at what I would have been spending if still lighting things up! A pack a day at $10 per pack multiplied by 365 days alone equals what? $3.650 not counting the other 9 months of no longer buy cigs by the carton adding another $2,700 or so into the mix. $6,350 can buy a lot of new hardwares and still have money left over!

Another reason for the variety of hardwares is from evaluating new flavors for at least one vendor where the variety is a requirement since different flavors vape differently on different set ups! I've finding some with almost no taste at 6-10w but stand out at 20-30w! Figure that one out! Plus the present coleection of Tumblers do not handle higher wattages to begin with. Yet at the same time I won't be needing anywhere as many Nautilus and Atlantis tanks either.

I'm certainly not surprised to see another compact announced while the other 30w mini I have more interest in is the Beyang with a usb out port for charging other devices plus a built in flashlight as well as being able to fire the Atlantis tank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQgcqVendMA

Actually other then grabbing up those spare eGo VV/VW batteries I went for something more then just another Vamo when looking at what was out this year. The Eleaf ohm and power meter is in use on the Smok Guardian epipe mod there while I still haven't been able to get the Smok Kick 2 VW mod to work on anything other then a tube mod that went on me when the button stuck in and could no longer spring back out telling me that was gone.

The Vamo Fire was ordered along with the four batteries back on 11/13 before all of the Black Friday/Cyber sales rolled in but took 16days to arrive from Singapore by registered mail the way Fasttech shipped those out since there were batteries involved. The Smok BEC Pro was ordered on Black Friday with 10% knocked off and came in with only 11 days. Besides smokestore.us located in China? waitng for the Guardian 2 variable wattage epipe the only other mod is the DovPo E-LVT due in whenever likely early next week to finish off the mods.

The 100ft of 32 awg wired showed up today while the Big Dripper should be in monday as well as some more 18650s I will be needing. Once everything is in I will grab another shot of the ecig collection here which should give you an idea of how I've had to be flexible. The Big D will be the first RDA while I plan to get likely a few more Atlantis tanks as well as spare coils for those as well as the Nautilus and Smok T-Dux 4.0 tanks I will be using now mainly on the epipe mods.

As for me I am reluctant to even look at the Kanger anything after not being satisfied with the Evods as well as the Aerotank Mini and Mega tanks. Others have some serious doubts as well as to how the Kanger Sub Ohm will match up against the Atlantis from what I have been getting.

Well darn Paul, would hate to see them collect dust. Send them to me I still use my kanger protank and the nautilus, I like having two flavors available at any given time. I will have to say yes, I will be getting one of the Kanger SubTanks soon I set them side by side and told the wife, here we go his and hers.. she still is not ready to convert yet

If the sub tank is half as good as the Atlantis I expect the nautilus won't cut it for you anymore either Doug.

I don't know if you plan on buying a box mod before you get the sub tank but the bonus is you get a 1.2ohm coil with the sub tank as well as the 0.5ohm one so it should work on your current mod.

I can't recommend the Atlantis enough though. I think you have to try that too at some point if you can.

Yeah mate, it has been on my mind since I read the email you sent me. I am going to get a box mod I think soon, but I cant make up my mind. Then I saw the Vamo Fire Night Hawk posted, and I want that too...decisions decisions. I think the Kanger with the rebuildables option is really good, but I trust your opinion and will more than likely try an Atlantis too

My best option now is to grab another box mod, there are so many nice ones to choose from.



I would like 2 mods that can run sub ohm coils then I can have 2 Atlantis tanks and 1 kanger subtank and job done. 3 flavors on the go.

Honestly Doug, if you lived in the UK I would mate but I expect the shipping costs to the US would be close to the cost of the actual vamo lol.
