A port on your alarm clock, nice touch. I have a plethora of usb chargers as my family is always charging cell phones in one room or another. On my mod, I see it does have a small led next to the usb port. I didn't notice it until I read that and looked.

That is a good price on the MVP. I hear the announcement for the MVP 3 come in early Jan.

Well that is the Version 3 seen there only Innokin simply labeled it the iTaste MVP 20W and left off the V3.0 part. They eliminated the 510/eGo connector seen on the V1 and V2 versions and now toss in an adapter instead to reduce the over size of this one. That's to completer with the iSticks, iStick Mini 10w, Cloupor 30w Mini, Beyang 30w coming sometime? as well as anything else compact.

Since the 2.0 was a short change on wattage as well as the VV v3.0s I have four of just before running across the 1300mah eGo-V V3 vv/vw batteries after shopping for Black Friday/ Cyber Monday week deals on the other iTaste 800mah battery there I generally only run the Smok Tumblers on them. The Nautilus was given a whirl at first but needed a little more then the 11w max the MVP offered. I have on on the VTR at 15w there being the max for that as well as on the 20watters I picked up lately!

Finding the alarm was a fluke one day when I just happened to walking by the housewares, towels section in a local Walmart and spotted the clock with two ac outlets! I later noticed the usb port after buying it and setting it up! That ran $24 while the Belkin 6 outlet plugin with two usb ports for $30 ended up with one of the two ports DOA! Then I found another plugin with only one ac outlet and two ports I passed along to someone I set up with a starter kit! They come in handy in stead of the endless time spent trying to charge things up off of a usb hub!

Charging via USB should be just fine. No harm or anything.

But USB Charge is more like a trickle charge vs a regular 'fast charge". Most of mine take something like 4 times longer via USB.
Although, if you set it to charge on USB overnight before you go to bed, it really shouldn't ever be a issue for you.

Charging overnight sounds like the way to go. As for the new Mod, the first day at work was great. Didn't have to take my charger to work, or swap out the batteries. With the Naulitus and using it on lower wattage it last about 24hrs real time. And a big plus is it's not top heavy anymore. I really like the BoxMod formfactor. It's actually smaller than I thought it would be and feels great to hold. For now I will continue vaping with the nautilus, but will get a sub-ohm soon

Charging overnight is what is was taking when plugging eGo batteries into the usb hub and the long wait until the red led turned green indicating the old 650 and 1100mah batteries were done charging. Once I got the Belkin wall plugin with 6 outlets and two usb one of course not working the charging was about 3hrs. on average. It was a fluke at first finding the Sharp alarm until finding this is now more commonly seen for charging IPhonies and other devices. Sharp Alarm with USB and Outlets, Black - Walmart.com

You could actually charge three devices with two having ac wall adapters and one using the usb port. The other option besides the four bay Nitecore Digicharger D4 for a variety of rechargeable batteries is the 12000mah portable charging battery I went for. You only need to charge that up about once a week while it charges several batteries and mods before getting down too low. Jackery® Giant+ Premium Portable Charger Aluminum 12000mAh Power Pack and External Battery Bank

I charged up the MVP, a few iTaste VV v3.0s, some eGo-V V3 1300mah VV/VW Mega batteries as well as both iSticks before the charger itself needed a recharge wanting to see how far it would go. You won't the charging port on the MVP or other mod when carrying that along with you in a coat pocket.

Thanks NightHawk, I'm good with it taking a little longer to charge. I think it took like 3hrs yesterday, even while I vaped it every now and then.

I really appreciate all the support and advice from all of you. I want to give a public shout out to Paul especially!

We talk about vaping through email as well as here. Paul really wants me to try the Atlantis. I told him I would soon, I will wait a while before I get one because my current job ends this week. He offered to buy one for me! :o at this point I revealed I had to wait on the purchase because my better half doesn't like me spending a lot. That was an amazing offer from him, I truly appreciated it!

Just for the record, so no one else makes an offer, I am good as I receive retirement income form my military time. I actually took about 18 months off when I retired from the military, before I got to bored and got another job.

I tend to carry on here, as I enjoy vaping, and the friendship from all of you.

Paul, thank you again mate!!

And thank you to Wishmaster for starting this thread, it has changed my life:cool:

I was always told never to charge overnight just in case of a fire risk.

I already told Doug but I just ordered one of those new fangled kanger subtanks. I will give my review in due course.

I think the risk is with leaving them in chargers, where as the slower charge from usb should be okay

I presently have four Atlantis tanks plus five Nautilus 5ml and another pair of the Nautilus Mini tanks being used on the iSticks. All three tanks actually perform quite well with some stipulations like the Mini tanks good for 7-13w on average. The 5ml Nautilus runs best starting at 11w and not going over 17-18w tops. The Atlantis barely fires at 15w and seems best at 20w for menthol/mint types and a good 30w for the average on a 50w mod. I one at 20w on the 30w E-LVT that came in.

I just got in some interesting Vape Mail today just in time before the New Year I would say! That would be some ejuice along with an 8 pack of 18350s ordered at Amazon with a month long wait being shipped in from where? China! I thought a US seller had posted the deal on the 8 pack but nope!

4r2o8n.jpg

The order for two flavors should have taken at least until tomorrow while the batteries were ordered on Black Friday! The Black Pearl with a little menthol added by specification and the latest Strawberry Shortcut flavor I waiting to see the review on arrives early while the batteries I could have passed took a month for the irony there! :D

Only two Atlantis tanks left which means order this minute or else since everyone else will be! The price now is averaging $35 or more! That's a buy there.

Wow, are you going to open your own vape store:D

Oh man at this price, it might be worth making the misus angry. Atlantis for $24.95

Aspire Atlantis

Has to be done Doug!

Tempting mate, very tempting

There's only two left and when I contacted someone who runs a review site along with two bargain shopping sites he shouted that's a great price! And that is correct since even the best deals I have been finding were at least $32 when those were first available and on Black Friday discounts!

I replied back explaining I already have four with one still unopened waiting to go on the 50w mod I just ordered. So far I haven't had the need to swap out one coil on any of the Aspire tanks I started trying out last month. I simply fill the next flavor and after the first few puffs the new one comes through right away. The new Kanger tanks use Japanese cotton which won't hold up as long. I entered one of the vendor contests to see if I could win one in order to make a comparison since I have hesitations on that brand after the Aerotank Mega and Mini tanks flopped here.

Excellent news on the job Doug!

Yes, I will give it a couple of days use when I get it and then give my verdict on both. I don't think there will be much between them other than capacity and the choice to rebuild on the sub but I am concerned on the size of the subtank. I hope it doesn't look stupid or overhang too much on my IPV V2.

I have my 5ml nautilus up for sale on the vaping facebook group I am a member of. If it sells then I am thinking of getting a 2nd box mod as the vamo is totally redundant now with the new tanks and it would be nice to have a good backup. I expect it to sell but I am not sure on the box mod yet. I would sell the vamo but half the black chrome has worn off and it doesn't look good enough to sell really.

And the SMY GOD Mod 180w is available for $75.77 which is a steal pricewise compared to what usually gets! But you wait nearly a month for it to come in from ChinaBuye being a headache! Urgent: You must use the code sorry5 to receive the price of $75.77on the SMY God180 That was the deal announced on 12/27 at SMY God180: 180W Mod For Only $75.77 - Vaping Discounts | Vaping Discounts

During the FB exchange with the reviewer I had asked about what tanks could be used on a mod with that much power since the Atlantis hasn't been pushed past 50w here at all as well as averaging well at 30w. The response was what I already knew is that you could turn the wattage down as low as 5w and only go up as high as you needed for any tank. The Kanger Sub Ohm I have been hearing runs best from 15w to 30w while the Atlantis has a problem at 15w needing a good swift kick in the 20watts! :D

Meanwhile I just got word(or should say the tracking email) for the pair of Kraigen Atlantis 8ml tank replacements that were not supposed to be out until Jan 5th! I pre-ordered a pair for two of the four tanks here and also ordered two glass replacement tor the stock tanks with stainless steel meshes surrounding the glass. Those will be used on the two box mods one back ordered and the E-LVT that just came in or one for the tank on the ZNA 50 mod since I tend to carry that around a lot when not having one of the iSticks handy.

I figured I would people know about this since the only vendor carrying the 8ml size giant replacement tank is found only at The Kraigen 8ml Atlantis Tank - Kidney Puncher The vendor here has them specially made for them apparently according to what I was reading on their site.

I agree, the SubTank may be a stay at home vape. You could keep the vamo and use the Nautilus on it I think, but I guess for you that wont work. Speaking of back up mods, look at this one

$68.44 LUXYOUN 150W Variable Wattage VW Box Mod - Brown

Yeah the nautilus just doesn't cut it anymore since I got the Atlantis Doug and the Atlantis won't run on the vamo so no real use.

Lol, that's a crazy looking mod, I really don't need more than 50w but a lot of the 100w ones are so cheap now that I may consider it. The Sigeli 50w V2 looks nice and also the new 100w version.
