I have been using FREE version of Synchredible for quite some time.

It has always been rock solid and reliable in duplicating my chosen folders and drives; some automatically on schedule and others manually on demand.

Way back when I was learning the program, there was a forum where I got many of my beginner questions answered.

Now, when I click any of my forum bookmarks, it takes me directly to the Synchredible Homepage; I even searched for the forum and that lands on the Homepage as well; so, I guess the forum must now be defunct.

That being said, my Synchredible has developed a situation that I can't seem to get to the bottom of.

Whenever Synchredible finishes a task, it always shows a Report of the finished task, both up front and center, and also accessible on the taskbar.

For reasons I cannot figure out, ever since August 23rd, no matter the task I run, when it finishes, it displays the report from a task that was completed on August 23rd and NOT the report for the task just accomplished.

By comparing "Properties", and from the contents of the Recycle Bin after execution, Synchredible is performing the intended task; it is just providing the same old report and not the one associated with that task.

The only thing I have not tried to fix this is to uninstall/reinstall; however, I figure that if I don't completely purge the system of the program before the reinstall, that whatever is causing the behavior will still be in the application data and still be there after the fact --- I have had that happen with other programs in similar situations.

Has anyone else experienced this situation with Synchredible and what did you do to fix it ?

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

If you wish to try uninstalling and reinstalling do it via
Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Uninstall Programs - Windows 7 ...

I have the pro version which traces the install and saves the process in a file.

I got this sorted out and without losing all my settings.

I did not uninstall; I just double-clicked the installation file and let it go through the motions; and, when it finished, all was good and problem gone.

I hope this helps someone else who may land here seeking a solution.

Glad to hear you have it working correctly.

Quite often you can go Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > click on the program and you have choices > uninstall, modify & repair.

Seeing there's very little discussion on the internet about Synchredible, I might as well note a couple of points/questions about 'Familiar with Synchredible'. The developer is silent.
For months I found particularly frustrating behaviour with my Windows system in not being able to download very large files. I thought I looked everywhere but I couldn't find what was inhibiting file arrival.
Then it occurred to me that Synchred was interfering with downloads through its 'watching' function, looking for changes in a folder, and copying them to a companion on another computer. BUT Synchred was doing it TOO SOON. Copying incomplete files was causing the trouble. I had to include *.part as an 'exclusion' to ignore.
Now, however, Synchred will jump in on large downloads that don't create .part files. Same problem. I can't exclude all file types, especially .exe's
Anyone found a way to make Synchredible more patient? The 'manual' is mute. Vn. 8.100 Pro.
(And yes: white on light orange is perverse.)
