Can you describe the issue in more detail? Are you getting the system to boot, it just doesn't bring you to a login screen? Are you getting to the login screen, but you can't enter anything in?

Can your computer boot?

If not, boot the Installation DVD or Repair CD, or press F8 key at reboot to see if Repair console is on Advanced Boot Tools menu, accept any offered Repair. If not offered or Win7 won't start after offered Repair, boot back in to run Startup Repair repeatedly from Recovery Tools list.

System Restore should be automated in Startup Repair and ask you if you want it; if not, boot back into Recovery Tools list to work backwards through System Restore points until it will start.

Please report back results and the exact wording of any error messages.

If you reboot and tap F8 repeatedly, does it give you the Repair My Computer console at the top of list?

If so, choose it and accept any offered Repair.

If this fails, repeat and click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair repeatedly, followed if necessary by System Restore.

If Repair isn't on the F8 menu, boot your Win7 DVD to choose Repair on second screen, or burn the Repair CD linked earlier.
