Hi guys.

Some members know me about my other topic. In that topic i told that i can not rate my WEI score.

See old topic: http://www.sevenforums.com/performance-maintenance/216124-cannot-rate-windows-experience-index.html

I had a break in my search in this, now im want to solve it.

When i run WEI, he check everything. but when he comes to Assesing disk performance, it go wrong  he is not checking it.

I have found more evidence that my Hard-Disk is working under strange drivers (or maybe incorrupt drivers) something whit my 'Hard-disk' is wrong. i have check it whit scan-disk in command prompt, and i have planned a disks repair when he starts windows again. No errors, no bad sectors, i have scan it whit Western digital (own) software.

So, i stuck again.

Hard-disk spec,s: WDC WD6400AAKS-22A7B0
WESTERN DIGITAL 640GB WD6400AAKS-22A7B0 DCM: HBNNHT2CB | eBay

I hope for help from you guys :)

PS: maybe a BIOS issue?

Are you still getting this error:

"ERROR: cannot process assessment results
cannot load XML data from a string
An invalid character was found in text content.
From Interface msxml6.dll:IXMLDOMDocument2"
then you probably have an incorrect BIOS SMBIOS string on your mainboard.

If so, have a look at this page, 2nd reply from the bottom.

If the problem is different, let us know what the error(s) is (are) now. A Guy

Yes! thats my error.

i have read that (and i found that topic already in my search)

Copy-paste form that site
WINSAT CPU

This is an invalid command but still generates the same error (run as Administrator). Re-installing from an MS Win 7 SP1 DVD does not fix it. Changed all RAM, HDD, CPU - still no fix. SFC is OK. Download of OS and checksum all files on the hard disk passes. 20+ other identical systems all pass winsat, just this one does not!

CAUSE = BAD CHARACTERS IN SMBIOS (DMI). In my case there was an UP_ARROW character in the System Vendor field.

Fixed by re-programming SMBIOS using Intel Desktop Integrators Toolkit (IToolkitw.exe).

I have AMD, so this tool is not working for me.

I run SMbios version 2.6.

EDIT Some screen-shots added.
Want to give good information about my problem, maybe this will helps.

Boot up into Safe Mode and go to start and type in devmgmt.msc. Then, go to ide/sata controllers, and right lick on it and select uninstall. Be sure to delete the driver software for it. Reboot into normal mode and let Windwos install the drivers for the sata controller. Also, do not install the drivers for it that come up in Windows Update unless this doesn't solve the problem.
Instruyctions to get into Safe Mode: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/69585-safe-mode.html

If you choose to, so be it. Your problem is not common, nor easy to fix. It appears you have an invalid character in SMBIOS. This will not easily be fixed. Unless you can reprogram SMBIOS, I personally am unaware of any fix. I'm assuming that others also do not have a fix. So short of them posting to say they don't know how to fix it, they don't reply. It is appearing a Motherboard replacement is the likely fix. You can try a Repair Install, or a Clean Install, but if it is hardware, then neither will fix the issue. A Guy

A Guy

I have done everything i know (and what you told now) many times!!!! (a clean install of different Win versions make not a different) Vista WEI works great, Win 7 (64 bit) sucks  (i have replace my motherboard) already months ago.

SOLVED!

Look

Event Id 10: Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x800

Yes im feeling great i solve the problem on my own! I can rate WEI !!!

For more People whit this problem:

"C:\Windows\System32\wbem\Repository." You can achieve this without rebooting or safe mode, and without altering any file or folder privileges by :

in service manager stop Windows Management Instrumentation Service, it will also stop it's dependencies Security Center, and IP Helper

in administrator elevated command prompt (left hit win key to open start menu search, type cmd then ctrl+left shift and press enter) use an admin accounts log in details :

this will start a cmd shell with full admin privileges. using that :

c:
cd \
md backupres
cd \
cd windows\system32\wbem\repository
move * c:\backupres
exit

service manager start first Windows Management Instrumentation Service and then Security Center, and IP Helper.

you may wish to use computer manager -> Services and Applications -> WMI Control
right click it, select properties, use the Backup and restore tab to create a repository backup to resolve this issue quicker if it happens again.

using this method I have not had any problems with MS DTC, though that may be entirely coincidental.

Note: I found this link it is working for the solution in the problem.
