Hey, just recently I've received a BSOD with the description as stated on the title. My graphics drivers have caused BSODs in the past, just wanted to know if this was anything specific/different in which there would be a different way of dealing with it. During the time of the BSODs, I wasn't doing anything that would put strain on the card itself, just general browsing.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, I see no one has been posting here :( I'll try and give it a shot.

I'm no professional, but the dmp file refers to BUGCHECK_STR: 0x116, this indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

When did you last update your graphics drivers?

Whenever 14.12 came out, I tend to update it whenever a new update comes out because my drivers cause issues every now and then.

The problem is caused by your graphics driver. Run Display Driver Uninstaller(DDU) When you are done running DDU install your graphics driver again and you should be good to go! This is the guide for DDU: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/83814-drivers-clean-left-over-files-after-uninstalling.html

Thanks! I'll try that. This has been a constant problem for me, despite updating to the most recent drivers and reinstalling drivers over and over again, BSODs continue to occur. The temporary fix for me is to have a game (e.g CSGO or DOTA2) running in the background and then the BSODs stop... No clue why this seems to fix the problem.

Good. After some thinking i think it might be the PSU that is causing it. Is your PSU sending the right wattage to your PC?
