Audio Problems

I recently installed windows 7 on an old dell dimension 8200 with a Sound Blaster Live! Value card made only for dell

The sound card that was included with my computer came with CD drivers so I thought everything would go smoothly, but right as I finished installing, I would get a BSOD. And the only way to remove that BSOD was to go into safe mode and uninstall the bad driver.

Before finding the CD I found some tweaked drivers which enabled the sound card, but no sound was coming from my (WORKING) speakers.

Help is appreciated, need info? just ask please

I feel you pain I have an 8300 with the same card and it took days to find the drivers that stormy and chev list. One of them should work.

Mine is 3gig P-IV with 2 gig ram.
