Thanks, at first I thought your post redundant, because I had already got rid of the nag screen, but I went ahead and applied the setting anyway, and was pleased to find that it didn't demand a restart after an update as it did before. You may have given Avira a pardon...or least a reprieve.
I use Avira on all three of my machines ... Premium Security Suite :)
