If window binds were compatible they would be sure to tell you. The fact that win 7 says there is a know issue should change your mind abt installing it

First, yes there is a version of Windowblinds that works with Windows 7, it is Windowblinds 7 beta 2. It is available via Stardock.com. However, you must have a Stardock account to use Windowblinds 7. If you have an existing account you can download via Stardock's Impulse.
Tested it for a couple of weeks, and did not have a problem with the beta 2 release.
