I know there are many other posts about this error on this forum and others. I think I have tried all of them but I still get this error.
When I go to Control Panel, Backup and Restore, I am told I need to set up a backup. Following the instructions, I select the recommended backup destination, Toshiba Ext (J
[Recommended] then Let Windows Choose, but when I click Save Settings and run backup, I get the error - The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002). The J: drive is 1TB connected by USB.
I have tried -
backing up only one file
changing the back up destination
fiddling with the system reserved partition (200MB), drive letter, no drive letter, formatted, not formatted etc
reinstalled windows
and other suggestions on this and other forums
I have 4GB RAM, 250GB SSD, Win 7 Pro 64 bit
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Peter
