Dunno why my pc is crashing while gaming or even hearing songs in balanced mode or with minimum processor state set below 25%. Now my question is what will happen if i chose High performance mode , will it cause any harm to my components , like shortening of life or something? If not then , can you tell what is actually causing the above mentioned problem? Is it actually the processor state or something else , i would like to add that it has happened only on 7 ( i tried 4 different versions on t\0/rrents :P ,trusted ones). I thought it may occur on vista too , but it didnt and same was for xp.

so again my questions are:
1) what is causing hangs and crashes in my 7
2) does it has something to do with processor state? If yes then what will be best mode with what % of processor state
