Base System Driver Failing Installation

I recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium around Christmas time, and I tried
to install the Base System Driver through troubleshooting in the Devices and Printers place.
Well, every time I tried to install the driver it failed. Can anyone help me?

My system:
Dell Studio 1535
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.10 GHz

Welcome to Seven forums your base system drive should be your card reader. Check you manufacturers site for that driver. If they only have a XP or Vista driver avaalible you can install itin compatibility mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/. Fabe

It's under chipset Ricoh driver select your make and model then vista 64 bit, drop down the chipset driver and you will find it their. use the compatibility mode as above to install. Fabe Drivers & Downloads
