Solved BCDboot Repair Help

I often do OS exchange among Win7/10/11, x86, x64, MBR, GPT, and often run into the corrupted BCD problem, usually after long-time trying to repair and still couldn't fix the BCD problem. therefore I went simply fresh-install, then restore image to over-write newly-installed OS (which over-run SSD but can solve the problem quick).

do you have any tools good at repairing the BCDboot problem? Thanks,

online I have read and followed various guides, however not very efficient. tedious procedure, often ended at failure.

in past, many of my old PCs have OS images only, BCDboot backup NOT with them. hence their restore will be problematic.

my experience
if from existing Win7 to Win10/11, either x86 or x64, I just restore Win10/11 OS image. leave Win7 BCD intact. when boot, run Win10/11 repair, it will repair BCD then start Windows 10/11. this procedure 100% works.

In contrast
if from existing Win10/11 to Win7, either x86 or x64, do similar, leave BCD intact. when boot, run Win7 repair, it worked by chance, NOT 100%. at this point, if failed to repair BCD, next would have to fresh-install. then restored old image.
