Solved Beeps when playing audio on windows 7 x64

i just bought a used laptop, and i notice when wearing headphones that i hear a beep, i usually hear it when playing a sound. And if i pause the video i get another beep about 30 seconds after. is this a bad thing, this laptop is a dell e5420 with a i5. i dont know if i ever hear it while regular use on the computer though.

Go the Panel for System Sounds and disable system sounds, then see if you still get it.

That is located in the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound.

i restored the laptop to windows 7 ultimate, and used driver pack solution to find the correct audio driver. looks like its fixed.

That was a drastic step, but if it fixes it..
