Somebody on the PC help forum just asked whether he should buy this laptop for $399. I think it is a damn good deal.

Intel i5 - 2.6 to 3.1GHz
8GB of RAM
1.5TB HDD
Intel Iris graphics - which is currently the fastest graphics chip

If you need a laptop, this one is hard to beat for the price. Take the HDD out and put it into a caddy and replace it with a 250GB SSD for under $100 and you have a really nice laptop.

That's £399, quite a bit more than $399. I personally won't own anything from HP again. The hardware is good but the support sucks!
