Hello all, I'm having this white screen problem lately. I played this game on launch, and weeks after and had no problems on medium settings. Today I tried to play, and after a few minutes of playing, I get a white screen but can hear the sound for a few seconds. I tried to lower the game settings to "low" and still was getting the same problem. I don't get this in any other game, and just wondering why it started to happen out of nowhere. Had no issues with the game before.

Like I said, I tried to lower settings, and I made sure I had everything updated. My Xfire says I'm getting 40 (average) FPS while I'm playing, so I'm just a bit lost on what to do. Here are my specs -

System Specs:
Intel Core Duo E6750 @ 2.67GHz
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)

*I also run games on 1360*768 resolution. Don’t know if that’s needed, just trying to see what else I should provide. If there’s other info you all need, please let me know :) and thanks!!

All drivers installed and up to date? Any recent driver changes? Don't have Windows Update set to download and install (can really mess things up when that happens with a driver)?

my white screen problems were caused by an overclocked/overheating HD 4890 that I fixed by simply returning the card to default clocks and the problem never returned

you can find some other fixes here and some more info here if you don't overclock your GPU/CPU

Wow, I feel like a tard right now. I guess when I did the update for my video card drivers a few weeks ago, I must have hit cancel or something since I just found out I didn't get it. I installed it, and the game hasn't crashed yet :D

Now that I downloaded it, it seems my IE flickers a little on certain websites (yahoo and Bing are two), but then I tested on another web browser, it wasn't flickering at all. I've never had an issue with my browsers, so I was wondering if that was normal. And this time I made sure it was updated, so I dont make that mistake again :p

And Slee, I don't have my pc overclocked :( Wish I knew how, but I don't. And I will check those links, thanks :)
