Bios update

My PC's motherboard is Asus M4A88T-M and CPU is AMD Phenom(tm)IIx6 1045T 2.70Ghz. When I try to open the EZ Flash 2 to update a new Bios version, it has no response as the "Download" is in "White" color.
The present Ver is 2403 and it was installed by MFG at Dec. 23, 2010.

Please advice how to download a newer version of Bios.

Do you have a specific reason to update your BIOS? Is something not working right?

Flashing a BIOS is something you should only do as a last resort and only if absolutely necessary. Doing it wrong, or if power is interrupted, can brick your motherboard.

I'm having no problems so I just leave it alone.

Just because the bios update is new does not mean it's better or needed.

If you are having a problem with your system please let us know and we will see what we can find and help with.

Until mother board manufactures make a utility to do the bios updating with some liability for correcting mishaps I'd just leave well enough alone
They could also offer the bios already on a flash drive read to be used but they don't and instructions even for my new x99 board are poor to say the least
