Bitdefender Total Security downloader not working

I bought Bitdefender Total Security 2013 ! year protection for 3 PC's.My friend installed it and said it was working great..when I try to install it shows downloader has stopped working

Im confused, when you say your friend installed it do you mean on this machine or a different one?

He installed it on his machine and I'm trying to install on mine..

The module ntdll.dll provides access to Windows Kernel Functions.

There are a few possibilies causing this fault:

1. The DLL is not registered,

A: type: regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll or regsvr32 C:\Windows\Sysytem32\ntdll.dll into the start menu, although there may not be an entry point as it was not designed to start this way.

2. The DLL is corrupt,

A: type cmd into the start menu, right click it and select run as administrator, then type sfc /scannow*
*this will cause loss of customisations such as boot/logon screens/start orbs.

3. There is a conflict, commonly pointed at the NVidia Driver, since you have an NVidia card, this could mean you.

A: Download the latest Nvidia Driver from their website, reboot into safemode, go to Programs and Features in the control panel. Remove all Nvidia Entries, Reboot into normal mode. Install the latest Nvidia Driver, minding the bloatware (e.g. Nvidia control panel, SLI, Stereoscopic 3D surround etc, just what you need, i.e. driver and physx, unless you have a 3d monitor) there is often a check-box incase you wish to make a clean install, if so, check it.

4. Malware is interfering with the install.
A: Download, install and run Malware Bytes Anti Malware, Download, install and run Microsoft Security Essentials.

For people who seem to think anti-virus programs are waste of time if they go on the internet and they depend on WINDOWS to protect them I would say there is a 99.9 percent chance they are already infected with some form of virus or malware.
