Bitlocked External Hard Drive Crash

Hi I was wondering if you could help me....One of my external hard drive witch was bitlocked turned on and off and something happened windows kept telling me it needed to be formated but insted I used partition manager and added a new partition since the old one was gone but the thing is the drive was now empty nothing on it...I have the keys for bitlocker but how do I recover my data ?

Hi,

I'm afraid it doesn't look good, if the encrypted partition was gone, and you replaced it with a new partition, then it now well and truly gone.

Post a screen capture image of your disk management screen so we can have a quick look for you.

Its Disk 4 Chaos

I installed Easeus Data Recovery and its finding files but will take well over 30 hours but Im not sure I can restore them does not say anything about bitlocked files.

One question for you brilliant people if external hard drive gives and error message it needs an format....How do you recover from that with or without bitlocker protection.
