Bitlocker Corrupted Drive

I damaged my drive, while I use decrypting my BitLocker encrypted External Hard Disk, due to numerous disconnection because of loose USB port. The Decryption was almost half way done. Now the drive is not shown in My Computer but it is detectable through other O/S like MAC, Linux as Unknown partition.
The data is extremely important, so I dont want to resolve in formatting the drive. Is there a way, I could fix my drive.

If you you were decrypting the drive and it failed...then no the data is lost. You might try and use those recovery tools to try and rescues it. However, encryption is not a play thing to be abused. When things go wrong, they go wrong.

Are you saying that the data is lost completely, with no hope of recovering them?

I also tried to use Bit Locker Repair tool but..

My drive is not detectable by the OS, and I only know the password of the drive but dont have the recovery key. but I can see the drive through other OS and some third party tool.

And I found that bitlocker repair tool asks for the recovery key and I dont have it.

Now When I plug in my drive... it does n't show it, and when I run 'Manage Bitlocker' or 'Disk Management', they hang. If I remove the drive bit locker gives a error 'Cannot find the specified file'.

Any idea, how to run the repair tool in this situation

what if you run it under Ubuntu live cd.

You may be able to access the data and copy it off?

No it can't. It says unknown partition.. and gives option to format it
