Blank blue screen. Please help!

The information included in a BSOD report contains system info to lead to the problems with hardware and software issues not exclusive to BSOD's.

It is called a BSOD report but actually it is a System Report.

Marked minidump in system settings but it never appeared. Also, there is no minidump folder in Windows folder (hidden files and folders are displayed). What should I do? I noticed that it appeared when the computer is not turned on for a long time

You may have to make a folder for the minidumps. I'm not sure where to put this folder.

The BSOD people can tell you where to put the folder. It has a specific spot it needs to be.

The issue is not a bsod.. that's all Im saying
I know because I had the problem before
That is also likely why there is no minidump
It's a graphics card problem

There is also one or more threads on the nvidia forums about these specific issues
But this particular one is one that cannot be fixed as far as I know, you could always try to make changes to power settings
Fair wanring when this happened to me I tried alot and it sometimes appeared to go away but came back at some point
All you can do since you can't get past this screen is reset the computer

This is NOT a bsod.. Do you happen to have a fermi Nvidia card because I had the same thing happen

Well Im not sure if you can fix this.. mine stopped doing it but that might be because I have 2 470's now and my newer model has a different partnumber and bios.. which is no certain bet tho

Yes my videocard is nvidia gtx 470.Why did you decide that this is the video card?

Because I have Asus P7P55D-E Evo with En GTX 470 and before I switched to SLI I had the blank blue screen frequently Actually I think there's one thread somewhere on here under graphics cards where I also replied
