Hello over the past couple of days my computer seems to be having problems, first of all it will seem to turn my screen off put seems like my computer is still running, and I have to shut down my computer via the power off button, here is the message I get when turning the computer back on.

Update the BIOS

Get the BIOS update from Acer.

Make it sure that the computer is getting adequate power.

What is the wattage of your PSU? Let us know.

Dismantle the computer. Clean the inside very carefully .... specially the air vents and fan grills. Make it sure that the computer is blowing the hot air out properly. When re-seating, apply adequate thermal paste to the bottom of the CPU.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

If you are overclocking the CPU, stop.

I have downloaded all updates and installed them I've also used speccy and here is the readings

I'm also scared to open up my computer as I've never done this before

After looking through the holes in the side of my case I see a lot of dust within the fans and just all over in general.

It's hot. A dismantle is needed. If you are afraid to do it, you can take others help who can do it. Dusts and heat may always cause a stop 0x116.

The capacity of your PSU is also an important information, so dont forget it.

And the result of the Furmark test, too.

You opened the case?

Notice how it reduced the temps. Definitely a dismantle and dusting is needed. Be sure that you are powered off before touching the inside.

Dont forget, PSU, Furmark and cooling.

I done the Furmark and it said min 57c max 98c, I don't know how to do the PSU or cooling.

It will be written either on the respective hardware, or in the packages or in the user manual in case of a branded PC.

They keep getting closer together today I had one that actually came up with a blue screen and stated it was taking a memory dump

And, change your PSU, get one at least of 750 watts.

Have you cleaned the fan grills air vents etc?

It still indicates the display driver failure, which is already the latest version, and we are suspecting it to be a heat / shortage of power related issue.

Before dismantle and dusting, and changing to an appropriate PSU, nothing can be said specifically. So let us know about your advancement in those stuff.

I think it has something to do with my Graphics card as Speccy is reading it at sometime 93°C, I'm sure it is reaching 100°C before cutting out

That may be .... but you cannot blame the graphics card itself for overheating before dusting and using an appropriate PSU.

In the present situation, any GPU will fail there.

Yes. 300 watts is really very low.

And, as it is a branded PC, may be that the cooler is insufficient, too. In that situation you should apply some powerful or additional cooler.

GPU may be failing itself, most possible, as it is similarly old I guess. But at first the other environmental factors are to be eliminated; as the environment is unhealthy for a GPU.
