I have a bluetooth mouse and when the computer goes to sleep the mouse will not wake it up. If I move the mouse or click the buttons nothing happens, even though the mouse has a blue activity indicator light (indicates mouse activity, not connectivity). If I instead type on one of my keyboards it will wake the computer up and the mouse will reconnect.

Mouse: Razer Orochi
Bluetooth Dongle: generic Bluetooth 2.1 dongle

I also have a Microsoft Arc keyboard that uses its own dongle, I assume not Bluetooth, and it will wake the computer from sleep. Hehe, now I know why MS didn't use Bluetooth for their own keyboard.

I would really like to be able to wake the computer with my Bluetooth mouse! Please help! Thanks!

I was having the same issue. Go to DeviceMgr, make sure wireless keyboard and mouse power management properties is checked to allow waking your machine. Try applying 2 consecutive keyboard strokes or mouse clicks. In my case, a single click or keyboard stroke doesn't wake the machine. Not sure why it behaves this way.

Let me know if this works out for you.

Hi, I have a similar problem. Both my Bluetooth Mouse and Bluetooth Keyboard CANNOT wake up Windows 7. Both of them have "Wake up system" ENABLED under Power Management but to no avail.
