[Not sure if this is hardware or software]
Yesterday when i attempted to boot up my PC, i got an error on the black startup screen saying "boot manager not found" and it would tell me to restart or whatever.
Prior to that happening, my computer would freeze on the user accounts startup menu.
-i've never had any issues with my PC before
+the only troubleshooting i did is disconnect the hard drive from the MB and reset after that.
It seemed to work after i did that, but i'm not so sure just yet.

So my question would be; are there any known issues with windows 7 startup, or could this just be my hard drive or mother board?

Has anything changed? did you have another OS on the system?

After further review of some other threads, i think i'll check the bios next time this happens.
It's probably the power supply dropping the connection w/ my HDD. I was just hoping that it wasn't my HDD failing. Thanks for the quick reply, Ken. Cheers
