Hi,

I did a system recovery on my laptop, and I don't have the CD for it.
So turns out it removed windows, I think, and the message, Bootmgr not available, or something to that nature.

How can I reboot my Windows 7, without the CD?

Thanks.

Hi again,

I downloaded what I needed from here: Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs — The NeoSmart Files

However, when I try to install the files, it goes to recovery mode, it tells me to load the recovery files, but when I try to open any file from the CD, it just says, "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware."

I really don't know what to do.

Just so you know, I burnt the .ISO files on a CD, not DVD.

Also, it doesn't show any operating systems to select, and when I press find and try to open a file nothing happens except "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware."

Yes that's what I downloaded, however my computer did not come with an installation CD, OR a recovery CD.

For some reason I went through all the steps and bootmgr is still missing.

Thanks man, but the thing is, boot manager is not on my computer.

At the beginning, it doesn't detect my OS and tells me to load it. I don't know which file to load though. It says, "Load Drivers".
And it takes me to system32 file from /X:

Ok I did that. I also copy pasted the bootmgr files from the CD that I made to C:, now it's telling me no OS detected.

Also, the startup repair says it cannot repair the computer automatically.
Really confused here!

No. But I did it and it recognized the Boot Manager, which is why I'm confused.
Ill just remove what I placed in C.

It doesn't have a OS to select from. It says add driver, and takes me to X:\Windows\System32
What do I select from here, for it to recognize I have an OS?

Also, when I try to do the startup repair, but it says that it cannot fix the problem.

Ok I partitioned C, and it loaded the bootmgr fine. Now my problem is that it's not recognizing the OS. How do I fix that???
