Used Macrium Reflect to create an image to a USB connected external drive. Wanted to make a rescue disk to with Macrium and it is only available with older version or paid version. I made a repair disk from 7 but that will not allow me to get to USB drive. Anyone ran into this and how did you get around it?

EDIT: I may have found a solution. On another PC that has 7 on it also has an older version of Macrium Reflect. I can use it to create rescue media. It has 4 options:

1. PE 3.1 (uses Windows 7 kernel)
2. PE 4.0 (uses Windows 8.0 kernel)
3. PE 5.0 (uses Windows 8.1 kernel)
4. PE 10.0 (uses Windows 10 kernel)

EDIT: Well its official. I am an AIRHEAD!!!! I was wrong about Macrium. You can make rescue disk with the new version. I'm sooo tired that I was trying to create it on Mini Partition not Macrium. Maybe I need a nap. :o

Don't feel bad. We all have done something equally "airheaded" or worse, probably more than once. I'm glad you got it sorted out.

(Sometimes, a nap is the best method of sorting things out. The older I get, the better it works.)
