Hi there, new to the forum but i promise to contribute if anyone can offer advice.

I have been getting BSOD's on my own built pc since it was bought, but only up until yesterday when I installed win7 x64 (previously x86).

It was happening when doing anything really, trying to install programmes and drivers transferring data or watching a video.
I have got the minidumps from this new install however I never checked them on the previous install.

Now I have run memtest 4.2 and it showed up errors in bank0, so I removed a stick and ran the test again, it showed up clean, so i swapped the sticks and ran the test again on this one however this one showed up clean too.
When I run the memtest with two ram sticks in, (dual channel mode), it will show errors but no errors on the individual sticks.
I have changed the memory voltages to 1.5v which is what they are meant to be, before was default 1.6v.
I have also changed the speed to set at 13.33 before was auto.
I have no option on my biostar h61mh board bios to change to single channel.

I am currently running the machine with one ram stick in, as it is way more stable, but again it has blue screened on me, which is what the latest minidump file is running with.
Also SFC has been done and no errors found.

Once again, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? Blank HDD, win7 x86 first.
- an OEM or full retail version? Retail
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer

- What is the age of system (hardware)? 2 months
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 1 day

Hi David777, welcome to SF. It seems nobody has seen this post yet. Is it still valid? Please post back if so and I'll see what I can do to help.
