A few days ago my computer was completely fine for months. I went to work and when I came home I turned on my pc. After a few minutes the computer froze. Forced a hard reboot and again. a few minutes after it freezes again. This time when I did the hard reboot I got a BSOD. I restarted and things were looking fine. I figured if it continues I would seek help. Computer was fine all day. I went to work and came home, when I turned on my PC the fans started and I heard the beep but the monitors, keyboard, and mouse did not turn on. So again I rebooted and was forced to do the windows recovery thing and it is was working fine for about 15mins and then computer froze again. So now I'm having to restart 2-3 times after login just to use the Pc for the day and repeat the next day.

Let's go for the third try...Really frustrated at this point. Had this whole thing typed out twice and I got BSOD both times before I can submit it. Going to make this one quick and to the point before I crash again. Ran anti-rootkit utility and it found nothing. uninstalled and re installed Nvidia and 3D is gone. Don't have an USB for memtest or defender offline.

Edit: Wanted to get that post in before I crashed. It only crashes after start up. I went in safe mode and it did not crash once. Comp was fine all day, of course except for the 2-3 reboots EVERY startup.. got home from work at 5:30 a.m turned on pc and went to change. came back and it froze. Everything was still on though. Sorry for the grammar.. Just trying to get this submitted Just in-case.

Scanned with TDSSKiller again and there were no threats found. As asbove I can't run windows defender offline or memtest yet without an USB( will be getting later this day) I started running the Video card stress test and I wasn't sure if it would stop on it's own or what so I stopped it. I'll run it again when I wake up. Just got offf a 10 hour shift. This morning I turned it on and it froze shortly after it reached the desktop. As I was rebooting the Pc was still running but monitor, mouse, and keyboard stopped working. Monitors showed no signal while the Pc was still running. 2 reboots later it's running fine as usual until I have to power down again.

Just got off work and turned on my Pc. Everything was running smooth for about 15mins so I figured it wasn't going to shut down.. surely after that thought it did.

6/3 Monday morning

Comp froze as usual, but this time there was a long beep until i rebooted. I rebooted and then came the BSOD. PC would run but nothing else would turn on. Went online on the laptop and looked for solutions. Found a temp one to switch the ram sticks around and it's working for now. I definitely need to run memtest.. here is the dump file along with SF

From your speccy screenshot, the GPU is very hot. It may cause all the problems.

I would suggest you to use onboard graphics to observe if the situation is the same with the onboard graphics or not?

BTW, how old the GPU is? Is it still under warranty?

I've had it for about 3ish years. How would I go about using onboard graphics? Not familiar with that. Side question. Sometimes when i visit random sites (mostly news related or articles) The comp freezes for about 7-8 secs then I hear and beep and then only does the page load. Ant idea on that?

I don't think the GPU is under warrrenty as of now. I purchased my PC from Cyberpowerpc. When I needed a new Hard drive I called about the warranty and I was told it was 2 years max, which I passed. However, I went to the site a few mins ago to check

For using onboard graphics, you unplug the VGA/DVI/HVMI (which connects the computer and the monitor) cable from GPU's end and plug it in to the motherboard's end. It will take the load automatically hopefully. If not, let us know.

Considering the age of the GPU, I would suggest you to replace it, as it is getting that hot. That heat will cause damages.

Would it have anything to do with running dual monitors? Any suggestions for a replacement? (gamer here)
Also ran memtest overnight.

Memtest looks fine after 7 passes.

Probably the onboard graphics is not able to handle the dual monitor ... still I am asking for some expert opinion on it.

Your onboard graphics is not capable to handle dual monitor, and so during the test better you use a single one only.

We just need to see if it is crashing in the same way with the onboard graphics or not.
